QuakeCon 2023, which was supposed to take place in August, was canceled back in March. But it seems that it will nevertheless be organized, albeit in a purely online format. Initially, it was planned to be held on August 6-9.
Digital Event Reported Quakecon at home will replace the traditional festival and will be held from August 7 to 9. As part of the event, a number of tournaments, streams and charity events are planned, as well as several surprises. So far in Bethesda did not give details, but promised to tell about them in the near future.
This is not the only case of such transfers and changes. Recall that a conference for developers WWDC 2023 the company Apple also took place in an online format. Most likely, other events will be similar by the end of the year.
One thing is good – fans will not have to wait until 2023.
