PUBG developers talked about additional measures to combat cheaters

Last month in PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds finally added a ranking mode. The authors of the royal battle expected that the innovation would lead to an influx of cheaters, but additional security measures, such as checking by SMS, did not give the desired effect.
That is why the developers introduced new measures to combat dishonest players, which are mainly designed to increase the number of bans in the ranking mode.

For example, already this week, cheaters began to be kicked out of the match in real time, if their cheats are easily recognized by game logic. In the future, the authors will improve the system to immediately ban expelled from the match violators.

Also, developers will closely monitor the leaderboard to quickly detect and automatically ban players who increase their rank by dishonest methods. To monitor the leaderboards, more people were attracted, who will track the current and past results of the players if they have any doubts.

In addition, the authors of PUBG have already banned a greater number of players for iron, improving the system of this type of ban. Later this year, they plan to introduce a mobile authenticator.

At the same time, the developers note that they are ready to implement even more stringent measures, including increasing the duration of bans for repeated violations and increasing the level of entry into the ranking mode if new measures do not lead to the expected results.
