Warsaw studio Genius Slackers and independent publishing house Katnappe released in Steam psychological horror What Happened. So far, the game has received mostly positive feedback from players.
In What Happened, we have to help Stiles, a high school student, fight his demons – real and imaginary. He is torn apart by anxiety and depression, he is bullied at school and experiences personal tragedies – betrayal, breakdown of friendship. If you do not show sympathy for him, he will sooner or later commit suicide.
What Happened is a mixture of walking simulator with horror, and the most similar project is called What Remains of Edith Finch, and some scenes are reminiscent of a thriller “The house that Jack built»Lars von Trier.
