The network is discussing the appearance on the site of a French online store Carrefour pages mentioning estimated prices for Playstation 5 and Xbox series x and information about pre-orders. According to the publication Gamergen, the sections remained active for several hours, after which they were hidden.
According to the screenshots of the pages no longer available, Xbox Series X pre-orders will be available in the Carrefour store until September 13, while the PlayStation 5 can be pre-ordered until October 3 this year.
As for the prices, the PlayStation 5 with a disc drive will cost 499 euros, while the model with only digital releases will cost 399 euros.
At the same time, according to the source, the Xbox Series X will be available for 399 euros, which is 100 euros less than the PS5 with a disc drive.
The appearance of such information on the site can be a common mistake. Sony and Microsoft have been slow to disclose pricing.
