Since the release of the PS5, some users have noted that on DualSense, the vibration in backward compatibility games is weaker than on the DualShock 4 on the PS4 itself – probably the problem lay in a fundamentally different operation of feedback on the two gamepads.
However, with the latest update, as people note, the vibration on DualSense in PS4 games has become much more sensitive – it is much closer to what it was on the DualShock 4.
Among the games where improvements are observed, they note God of war, Ratchet & Clank, Rocket league, Overwatch and remake Final fantasy vii… In the patch notes, nothing about the changes for DualSense is reported, but after the release of the update for the console, an update for the gamepad also appeared.
