Developing his position further, Jim Ryan added that in his understanding the recipe for “the best game” is absolute creative freedom for developers, which can positively affect the quality and evoke a “strong emotional response” from the final audience.
“It seems to me that the strongest impressions of the game are given when players can immerse themselves in them, feel like a part of these worlds, experience a variety of emotions,” added Jim Ryan.
