Studio programmer Respawn Entertainment Jake Smullin posted a video in his TikTok-account, where he explained the work of crossplay in the royal battle Apex legends… The video appeared two weeks ago, but the media paid attention to it only now.
According to Smullin, by default, players on consoles and PCs will not get into matches with each other. The only exception will be the case when there is at least one PC player in the team of console gamers.
As a reminder, Apex Legends will receive crossplay support between all platforms this fall. Simultaneously with this, Battle Royale will be released on Nintendo Switch and in Steam… Moreover, in the service Valve users will receive three virtual key fobs at once.
