Stylish role-playing action movie Astral chain from Platinum games exceeded the creators’ expectations for sales. This was announced by the head of the development of the game Takahisa Taura in a cross-interview with the vice president of the studio Hideki Camie and the author NieR: Automata Yoko Taro. Material will be published in the next issue of the Japanese magazine Weekly famitsu.
Specific figures were not disclosed – they can only be voiced Nintendo, with the financial support of which the game was created for the console Switch.
Astral Chain debuted in August 2019. Already in September, PlatinumGames called the game a success..
