The Japanese release of the new part of the famous series of simulators of peaceful life took place, and Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town turned out to be a “technical hell”. Players complain about numerous long loading screens, critical bugs, and uneven gameplay.
Recently, the Story of Seasons series, which was previously known as Harvest moon in the West or Bokujo monogatari in Japan, celebrated its 25th anniversary. And the premiere of the unfinished Pioneers of Olive Town was not the most successful way to mark such an important milestone.
In Europe, Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town launches on Nintendo Switch on March 26th. There is a hope that at least some of the bugs will be fixed by that time. The delay of the release, at least, is not reported.
