With the beginning of the filming process of the series based on The last of us the creative team and cast are starting to share a variety of photos to whet fans’ interest. A fresh look at the project HBO became a snapshot in my Instagram the actor shared Gabriel Lunaplaying Tommy.
In the picture we see the key cast of the adaptation of The Last of Us in the person of Pedro Pascal (Joel), Nico Parker (Sarah) and Gabriel Luna himself (Tommy). Also in the frame you can see the Russian director Kantemir Balagov, who is responsible for the first episodes of the show.
Judging by the fact that the actors are in the car, it seems that the photo depicts a scene from the opening part of the original game, in which Joel, along with his daughter and brother, is in a hurry to get away from the outbreak. But as fans of the original source remember, those tense events took place at night. However, it cannot be ruled out that in the series that episode will be shown differently, or it is a completely new scene.
The timing of the premiere of the film adaptation of “The Last of Us” has not yet been announced.
