Paradox announced a production freeze Imperator: Rome – the measure is called temporary, since the publisher needs to focus on other projects.
Studio PDS, where about 150 people work, were divided into three teams – each of them will be engaged in supporting existing and creating new games, some of which will be presented at PDXCON… Each unit was even given a name:
- PDS Green – headed by Stellaris
- PDS Red – leads Crusader Kings 3
- PDS Gold – leads Hearts of Iron 4.
During the restructuring, Imperator: Rome had to be “on the shelf” – this year, no new global strategy content should be expected.
“We are currently considering plans to rebuild the team for Imperator: Rome and resume production, but in the short term we need to focus on other projects.“.
