Swedish-french studio Lightbulb crewknown for action Games of glory, announced the closed testing of its new project, Othercide. The developers will select about a thousand players from among those who apply for participation, and invite them to the beta server.
Othercide is a monochrome horror game with turn-based tactical battles. Its action takes place in a ruthless world tormented by people from nightmares. The last hope is the Daughters of the world, because only they are able to arrange genocide with all the “other things”.
It will not be easy. Resources are always scarce, and every death is final and irrevocable. The only way to survive is to predict enemy attacks in order to be able to counter them with a deadly combo of counterattacks, delayed actions and deadly skills.
Developers warn that the road to victory will be paved with victims and complex decisions. But every defeat can reveal the truth or provide new opportunities. Othercide is due to reach PC by the end of the year.
