From September 9 to September 12, open beta testing of an ambitious MMO from Amazon – New world… The developers want to check the servers by the time the game launches, which will take place on September 28th.
It is reported that the open test will use a new feature Steam Playtestwhich will allow all interested players to request access to the beta right on the game page. Supported regions include North America, Europe, Australia, and South America.
Amazon clarified that streamers and people actively using social networks will be able to freely share information from the open test.
The news is not very pleasant: if you already have New World installed, you will have to download it again through Steam. And, alas, it will not be possible to transfer progress from the beta version to the full game.
During gamescom 2023 the developers have presented a new trailer. Players will embark on a journey to explore ancient secrets and choose a side in the war for control of Eternum.
