Warner Bros. together with Legendary Pictures showed the second trailer for the adaptation of the bestseller of the same name Frank Herbert “Dune“. The picture is shot by an Oscar nominee Denis Villeneuve (“Arrival”, “Blade Runner 2049”).
The sci-fi film tells the story of the heir of the House of Atreides, who travels with his family to one of the most dangerous planets in the universe – Arrakis. There is nothing on it but sand, a scorching sun, giant monsters and the main cause of intergalactic conflicts, an incredibly valuable resource called melange.
As a result of the seizure of power, Paul is forced to flee and go into hiding. This marks the beginning of his epic journey across a hostile planet, which has prepared many difficult trials for the heir.
The film played Timothy Chalamet (Call Me By Your Name, Little Women) Rebecca Ferguson (“Doctor Sleep”, “Mission Impossible: Consequences”), Oscar Isaac (“Star Wars”), Josh Brolin (“Harvey Milk”), Dave Batista (“Guardians of the Galaxy”) Zendaya (“Spider-Man: Homecoming”) and other actors.
Dune is scheduled to be released in Russia on October 14th.
