As the creators explain, work on RunMe began “for the soul”, and only in 2018 the studio decided to make a full-fledged prototype to offer it to publishers. They showed interest, but not enough to start work.
A long time later, the developers admitted that they were unlikely to have the time and money to complete work on RunMe. And they decided to simply distribute the prototype to everyone for familiarization.
The meaning of the turn-based puzzle RunMe is to reach the goal at each level, avoiding the pursuers. The first enemies are harmless and predictable, but the farther, the more difficult it becomes to take into account various factors. In addition, opponents are constantly reborn, so it is more important to bypass them than to defeat.
RunMe is so incomplete that it does not have a “Leave the game” button. To do this, offer to press Alt-F4.
