Japanese studio Mages announced that on 20 August at Steam an action-adventure movie will be released Ogre tale, whose plot turns the classic Japanese tale of Momotaro, the peach-pit boy, inside out.
According to legend, Momotaro, accompanied by a dog, a pheasant and a mountain monkey, defeated the evil ogre demons and took possession of their treasures. Generations later, everything changed, and the descendant of Momotaro became the main evil terrorizing Japan.
And then he is challenged by the three heiresses of the surviving ogres: girls named Ran, Hana and Yume. They were found, raised and trained in martial arts by the cat Irokha. The role of the ogre girls can be taken on by three players in co-op.
Ogre Tale is a classic 2D batemup with combos, boosted hits, trophies and all the other features of both fighting and RPG. After the PC release, the game should be released on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
