Studio developers Odddworld inhabitants announced the release date and the start of pre-orders for the re-release of action-adventure games Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath HD for Nintendo Switch family consoles. The project will be available on January 23 this year in the store. Nintendo eShop at the price of 30 US dollars (2249 rubles for Russia).
Original Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath debuted as an exclusive for the console Xbox, after which – in 2010 – in Steam a reissue was released with improved graphics and resolution, and a year later the remaster got to Playstation 3. Subsequently, an HD version was released for PS Vita, iOS, Android and Ouya.
Released in 2005 Stranger’s wrath combines the elements of adventure from a third person and a shooter from the first. The main character of the game was the Wanderer, a tall and gloomy bounty hunter. His mission is to catch all the villains and send them to jail.
The wanderer zealously guards the secret of his past and needs an expensive operation to survive. Pursuing the goal of earning as much money as possible, he is reluctant to accept the special order of the dam owner on the Mongo River, and his adventure takes a completely unexpected turn.
