2020 should be a very fruitful year for the Oddworld series. In addition to a possible release Oddworld: Soulstorm Microids and studio developers Odddworld inhabitant announced the signing of a new agreement, under which this year the French publisher will distribute three games of the Oddworld series for Nintendo Switch family consoles. The first swallow will be previously announced Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath HDwhich will appear on the Switch prefix at the end of this month.
As part of this announcement, it was confirmed that the port Stranger’s wrath for the Nintendo hybrid console will be released on January 23 this year. This version in the first quarter of 2023 will also acquire a physical (boxed) release with a number of unspecified bonuses. Then Switch will receive two more games – Microids did not specify their names, but noted that they were all “are classic Oddworld series projects“. From this it follows that the question of the appearance of Soulstorm on Switch is still pending.
