NVIDIA GeForce 445.87 WHQL driver optimized for Minecraft RTX – review

Tomorrow, April 16, open beta testing will begin Minecraft rtx. Today Nvidia released an update for the GeForce 445.87 WHQL graphics driver, which is optimized for the new product.

The driver also includes improvements for remasters. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Saints Row: The Thirdand simulator Snowrunner. The extent to which these optimizations improve the gameplay is not reported.

In addition, in the list of devices G-sync compatible replenishment appeared. Three monitor models were added there: Acer XB273GP, Acer XB323U and ASUS VG27B.

In addition, bugs were fixed. This is in particular:

  • “Blue Screen of Death” after 5-10 minutes of playing Rise Of The Tomb Raider on the maps GeForce RTX 2080 Ti in DirectX 12 mode
  • Black screen flicker in Doom eternal
  • Problems starting some games with DirectX 11 when Image Sharpening is enabled in the NVIDIA Control Panel
  • Artifacts of the image on laptops when exiting sleep mode.
