Based on the information that got into the media, the news hero did not modify the prefix himself – he bought it hacked for personal use for 5 thousand rubles in the fall of 2019. Later, he decided to sell the device to another person for 7.5 thousand rubles, but he was “burnt out”. A criminal case was instituted against him.

It is noted that the modified PlayStation involved in the case allowed the launch of unlicensed software, which is a violation of the license agreement for system software and the terms of use of Sony Interactive Entertainment programs.

The prosecutor’s office indicated that the accused had given confession. The prefix was seized by law enforcement and destroyed.
