“We understand that the delay will disappoint our fans, but we look forward to releasing No Time To Die next year,” reads the franchise’s official Twitter account.
This is not the first time the picture has been transferred – it was originally supposed to have been released six months ago.… As in the previous time, the reason for the shift in the premiere was the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, due to which the cinemas of the two main US film markets in New York and Los Angeles remain closed to this day, and cases of infection have again increased in Europe. Given the global popularity of “Bondiana”, the filmmakers decided to postpone its release until better times, when viewers around the world can once again feel safe returning to cinemas.
“No Time to Die” was directed by Carey Fukunaga, famous by TV series HBO “True Detective”. The plot of the picture will continue the previous parts with Daniel Craigohm and will tell about Bond’s return from retirement for the next mission, when a new threat looms over the world. Rami Malek, Lea Seydoux, Lashana Lynch, Ana de Armas, Christoph Waltz, Rafe Fiennes and others also starred in the film. For Craig, this film will be the last in the series.
