No release in 2023: Blizzard announces the postponement of Diablo Immortal

Company Blizzard postponed the full launch of the role-playing game Diablo immortal from 2023 to 2023. This was announced at today’s meeting. Activision Blizzard with investors.

For example, we made changes to PvP content, including the Cycle of Discord, to make it more accessible to players, and have tried to make some PvE content, such as the Infernal Reliquary, more interesting. We are also working on controller support for those who want to interact with the game in a different way. But these changes and additional gameplay improvements will not be released according to the previously published schedule for 2023. Therefore, now the release of the game is scheduled for the first half of 2023, which will allow us to significantly improve all its aspects, “- said in the message.

By the end of 2023, Blizzard is going to conduct another round of limited testing, during which some improvements will be made to the game based on the results of closed alpha testing and based on player feedback.

“We thank everyone in the community for their patience and support for Diablo Immortal.”

At the meeting with investors, the head of Activision Blizzard Bobby Kotick also noted the high engagement of the audience in World of warcraft (figures were above the average for a year without major new expansions) and promised “new content from Blizzard over the next 18 months.”
