No longer exclusive to PlayStation 4 – Horizon: Zero Dawn will officially be released on PC on Steam

Leaks and rumors turned out to be true. Supervisor Sony Worldwide Studios Herman Hulst confirmed today in an interview with the official PlayStation blog that role-playing action Horizon: Zero Dawn from studio Guerrilla games really come out on pc. The release of the computer version of the game will take place this summer.

There is currently no information on the exact release dates, but a page has already opened in Steamwhere you can find out the first details. Gamers will be offered the entire contents of the publication Complete editionwhich includes the base Horizon: Zero Dawn, the plot extension of The Frozen Wilds and all other downloadable materials that appeared on the PS4 after the release of the game. Sony itself will engage in port publishing, namely the PlayStation Mobile, whose forces previously published on the Valve site Helldivers and Everybody’s gone to the rapture.

In the announcement message Guerrilla games only mentioned Steam. Is it worth waiting for the game to be released somewhere else, for example, in the Epic Games Store, is still unknown.

The original Horizon: Zero Dawn debuted in February 2017 as an exclusive PlayStation 4. For all the time since the release of the project, sales have exceeded 10 million copies.
