In a remake of hardcore action RPG Demon’s Souls for Playstation 5 an easy level of difficulty could appear, but in the development process the team Bluepoint games refused such an option, as told in a recent interview Gavin Moore, creative director of the studio.
As it turned out, at some stage in the creation of the remake, the team really considered an option in which a mode would appear in the game in a certain form, somewhat changing the balance of difficulty, however ultimately the developers decided that they shouldn’t interfere too much with the structure of the original project FromSoftware – instead, you need to give the audience exactly the impressions that many first encountered back in 2009…
“The project is based on the recreation of the work created by another team of authors. Of course, we changed certain things, but the driving idea of the whole development was the desire to keep the spirit and ideas laid [From Software]… We considered the possibility of creating an easy level of difficulty, discussed this point, but ultimately decided that we have no right, as custodians of the legacy of this great game, allow ourselves to make such serious changes to the balance, “explained Gavin Moore.
