Taking into account the sales of such consoles, more than 4 million Switches have already been sold in China, according to Niko Partners. This makes the Nintendo platform the absolute leader in the Chinese console market.

Reuters notes that consoles are still niche products in China, which has traditionally been dominated by mobile and PC games. However, the market is gradually growing. Niko Partners predicts that the console segment’s annual turnover will double by 2025. This will be facilitated by the Nintendo Switch and the launch of the next generation PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
