Nintendo talks about the important feature of Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition for Switch

Updated role-playing game Xenoblade chronicles for console Switch, released May 29, will contain a completely new story chapter – the epilogue Xenoblade Chronicles: Future Connected. Nintendo clarified on its Japanese blog that this extra adventure will be immediately available. Users can get into it directly from the main menu. To complete Future Connected completion of the main game is not required.

The feature, as can be understood from the description, is primarily aimed at fans of the original game who are well acquainted with the plot and want to quickly go through the new epilogue, the main characters of which, based on the trailer, are Shulk and Melia.

For beginners, it is recommended to complete the main game first and only then proceed to the Future Connected epilogue. Otherwise, they will only get confused and ruin their pleasure.

As part of the creation of Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition, the developers completely updated the graphics and character models, redrawn the interface and re-recorded most of the soundtrack.

The game goes on sale in standard and collector’s editions..
