In Ultra High Definition, the PS5 version of The Touryst will run at 60 frames per second using supersampling technology, which renders the game picture in native 8K resolution and forcibly compresses it to 4K when displayed on screen, for even greater image clarity. On Xbox series x the adventure game also uses supersampling, but at a lower native resolution of 6K.
Owners of 120Hz TVs will also be able to play The Touryst on PlayStation 5 at 120 FPS… The picture quality, in this case, will be downgraded to standard 4K. As for the version for the old Sony console, in this case, support for 1080p and 60 FPS is declared.
