Publishing house Focus home interactive and studio Lightbulb crew introduced a new trailer Othercide, which the authors devoted to the gameplay features of their turn-based horror tactics.
A key feature of the battle was the so-called dynamic chronology system. It will allow you to combine attacks, manipulate opponents and control not only where and what units do, but also when. For example, you can prevent an enemy from attacking before it even happens.
In Othercide, players will lead an army of Daughters, echoes of the soul of the greatest warrior of all time. Each Daughter is a unique character and will develop skills based on how she fights.
Also, the Daughters will receive the skills of one of three classes to choose from: Blademaster, Soulslinger and Shieldbearer. Later, each skill can be pumped, giving it additional amplifications and effects.
The healing of one Daughter requires the sacrifice of another. In addition, each unsuccessful passage will open up new abilities and opportunities, and the reward for killing each boss will be new effects.
Othercide will be released July 28 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The Nintendo Switch version will be released later this summer.
