New full-length film adaptation of Resident Evil will be released on September 3 – Igromania

Film companies Constantin and Sony announced that a new full-length film adaptation Resident evil will be released on September 3 this year.

Recall that the main role in the film, Claire Redfield, is played by Kaya Scodelario (“The Maze Runner”), and Johannes Roberts (“Blue Abyss 2”) is the scriptwriter and director.

According to the director, the film will be linked to the original games. The events of the new film will unfold in Raccoon City in 1998.

Earlier it became known that based on Resident Evil, work is underway on a CG mini-series and Netflix show.
