Developers from the Ukrainian studio Frogwares released a new video with answers to fans’ questions about the upcoming detective adventure Sherlock holmes chapter one… In particular, the authors of the game talked about Sherlock’s friend John, as well as the combat system and a potential sequel with the subtitle “Chapter Two”.
- John and Sherlock Holmes met in London when they were 8 years old, and since then they have been inseparable – almost like brothers. John helped Sherlock survive the death of his mother, and in the new game he will stay close to him. However, the developers hinted that by the end of the story, their relationship may change.
- During the passage, players will meet with characters familiar from the works of Arthur Conan Doyle, who can influence the development of the character of the young Sherlock Holmes.
- As for the combat system, according to the developers, it will be possible to use fists and firearms only in the episodes determined by the plot. In addition, it will depend on the player whether an aggressive way of solving the issue will lead to the death of a character, which will also affect the attitude of others towards Sherlock.
- Due to the fact that the subtitle of the game contains the phrase “Chapter first“fans are wondering if the developers have conceived their project as the beginning of a new sub-series. As it turned out, at the moment there are no such plans, but the game is likely to receive paid and free add-ons.
The release of the game is scheduled for 2023 for Playstation 5, Xbox Series X | S, Playstation 4, Xbox one and PC in Steam, Epic Games Store and GOG…
