Developers from a Chinese studio miHoYo announced update 1.1 for shareware action role-playing game Genshin Impact… “Approaching a new star” is expected on November 11 this year.
As part of the update, the following content was prepared for players:
- Four new characters (Five-star Childe and Zhongli; Four-star Xinyan and Diona);
- Three complete Acts of the main storyline quests, including the grand finale of the Li Yue chapter, and side quests for the characters;
- Two-week seasonal event “Irreconcilable stars“ (Unreconciled Stars), within which the players “the sudden and terrible catastrophe threatening Teiwat is to be resisted”;
- New reputation system, thanks to which players in different cities will have a separate rating;
- Lots of new items including a portable waypoint, portable oven and more
- The new monster Forrest Hilichurl, whose name and appearance is a reference to Forrest Liu, the head of the miHoYo studio that developed Genshin Impact;
- A PlayStation 5 version of the game will be available “with improved graphics and faster downloads.”
On the success of the mobile version of the game, we wrote in one of the past notes. Earlier, the creators revealed plans to support the project in the coming months. For example, a new region is expected in December.
Genshin Impact can be downloaded for free at Playstation 4, PC, iOS (App Store) and Android (Google play). The Switch version is slated to be released at a later date.
