Streaming giant Netflix signed a contract with a film company Amblin PartnersOwned by Oscar-winning Hollywood director Steven Spielberg. It is reported that within the framework of the partnership, the parties plan to release several full-length films a year. At the same time, the likelihood that Spielberg himself may direct one of the projects is not excluded.
It is noteworthy that in 2019 Steven Spielberg was skeptical about films from streaming services, opposing their nomination for the Oscars in the nomination for best picture, but later the eminent director revised his views.
