You may notice that the studio Monster games no longer in the development of the series. The former publisher of 704 Games Company took up the creation of the new part, and Motorsport Games, in which studio veterans work, is the new publisher Codemasters.

In NASCAR Heat 5 players are waiting for the official teams, drivers and tracks of all three NASCAR series (plus the Xtreme Dirt Tour). The developers promise a career mode, test races without bots, multiplayer (online and local), advanced features for customization, as well as improved graphics, gameplay and interface.

The authors admit that due to the shortened development schedule (the previous parts were released in September), they were not able to realize some of their ambitions, including matchmaking. In future installments of 704, the Games Company intends to take the series out of stagnation.
