Polish studio Ci games announced that in a tactical shooter Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts multiplayer mode has already appeared. The add-on with online mode is available free of charge to all owners of the game on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
The possibility of sniper battles has not yet been fully debugged, and some players complain about crashes and technical flaws. However, most of the bugs will probably be fixed in the next patch.

The release of Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts took place at the end of November 2019. Multiplayer mode was planned to be added in December, but the creators took more time to bring it to release.
In January 2023, the studio announced that Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts had sold over 250,000 copies, including both digital sales and boxed editions. In the wake of success, CI Games will not only continue to support the game. Work has already begun on a new part of the series under the working title Tactical Shooter 2.
