More than a remaster: Now NieR: Replicant comparison

Last week Square enix has published a new reissue gameplay NieR: Replicant… A few days later youtuber Cycu1 compared the shown footage from the remaster with the original version for Playstation 3 2010.

The video shows the scale of the changes well: the colors and lighting have changed, the hero models have been updated, and the scenery and individual objects have been completely redone in places. Shadows, textures and resolution were also revamped, the previous blurring of the image was gone, and the overall game looked noticeably fresher. In addition, now all this still works at 60 FPS.

The reprint was based on the Japanese version, in which the main character was the young man Nir, trying to save his sister… In addition to the changes noted above, the game will offer a re-recorded soundtrack and voice acting, new content and modernized gameplay. Members of the original team participate in the development of the project, including the director Yoko Taro, composer Keichi Okabe and producer Yosuke Saito

The release will take place on April 23rd.
