Monster Hunter Stories 2 has set a record on Steam for the entire genre – review addiction

Monster hunter very fond of on PC – this Capcom managed to prove once again with the release of a story-driven Japanese role-playing game Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin

Two days after its release, the novelty set an absolute record for peak online for the genre, beating the previous record holders. Up to the heights of a big fellow with a subtitle Worldof course, jRPG is very far away, but the result is still impressive.

Online jRPGs are still growing, so the bottom line may be higher. What’s funny is that right now Monster Hunter: World is played by about the same number of people (28,418 people) as the fresh Wings of Ruin. Peak online in 24 hours and even higher – 34 770 people.

Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin was released on July 9th on Nintendo Switch and PC. A special demo version was released on both platforms, the save from which can be transferred to the full version of the game.
