Vice President Monolith Kevin Stevens announced the establishment of a new studio in Seattle – it is being done in conjunction with Electronic Arts

Now Stevens will once again work with Samantha Ryan, who led Monolith from 1998 to 2007, after which she worked until 2015 as vice president of production for the gaming division of Warner Bros.

Ryan runs four major studios at EA – BioWare, Motive, Maxis and Full circle… Now another studio will appear under her leadership.

Stevens’ team will create an open-world adventure game – a genre that remains intact for EA, despite many attempts. The last was the canceled “Star Wars“From EA Vancouver, which was made on the basis of the developments of Visceral, and the new EA Motive.

They intend to share the first details of the project in the fall – it is not even known whether it will be a new brand or something based on the old EA franchises.
