Modern Warfare – patch weighs from 50 to 70 GB – review

Infinity ward launched the second season Call of Duty: Modern Warfare with lots of new content … so big that on a PS4, Xbox One, and PC, a fresh patch weighs 51 GB, 68 GB, and 67 GB, respectively.

According to Activision, such a huge amount is due to the fact that the update contains many existing files and overwrites the data for better optimization. Apparently, after installation, the volume of the client will decrease.

As part of the start of a new operation in the shooter appeared:

  • 1 new operative – Goust
  • 4 new cards:
    • Rust and Atlas Superstor for multiplayer
    • Zhokov Goneyard – for “Land Wars”
    • Rust and Bazaar – for “Fiery Contact” (“2 on 2”)
  • 2 new modes:
    • Fiery Assault Tournaments
    • Call of Duty League – an eSports game
  • 2 new weapons:
    • GRAU 5.56 assault rifle
    • Submachine gun Striker 45.

Season 2 Content Plan

During the season, developers will add even more content, namely:

  • 2 new operatives – Talona and Macy
  • 1 new map – Khandor Hideout
  • 3 new modes:
    • “Infected Ground Wars”
    • new mode for night maps
    • variations of the “Fiery Contact”.
  • unknown new weapon.

Along with the start of the second season, of course, a new combat pass appeared with free and premium progression. It also contains:
