Disney and Pixar have unveiled their debut teaser trailer for the animated series Monsters At Work (“Monsters at work“). Multi-part sequel to Monsters, Inc. kicks off on Disney + streaming service 2nd July…
The history of the show will revolve around Tylor Taskmon – an energetic young monster who graduated with honors from university and always dreamed of becoming a scarecrow, until he got a job and discovered that now he needed not to frighten children, but to make them laugh. The animated series will introduce many new heroes, but at the same time it will return the main stars of two full-length films – the one-eyed green orb Mike Wazowski and a furry blue beast James P. Sullivan… They were re-voiced by Billy Crystal and John Goodman respectively.
In addition to Mike and Sally, Monsters at Work will also return other familiar characters, including Mike’s girlfriend Celia, the lonely Yeti and Rose, who will have a twin sister named Rosie.
Earlier it was reported that the events of the show will start six months after the finale of the original cartoon. Thus, unlike the 2013 prequel titled “Monsters university“, the animated series will focus on how the monster world adapts to using laughter as a source of energy instead of screaming.” Monsters at Work “will be the first work Pixar in the field of television animation, but in the next few years the studio will release many other shows on Disney +, including those based on “Wheelbarrows“and”Up“.
