At the same time, the company’s Windows, Xbox and Surface revenues increased 19% to $ 13 billion, with video games being a key driver. And console revenue grew 232% year-over-year, thanks to the launch of the Xbox Series in late 2023.
In terms of direct revenue from Xbox content and services, it increased 34%, driven primarily by games and Xbox Game Pass.
Overall, Microsoft showed strong growth, with total revenues growing 19% to $ 41.7 billion in the quarter, and net income by 44% to $ 15.5 billion.
