Microsoft announced that on June 15 next year it will officially end support Internet Explorer – on Windows 10, the classic browser is still supported, but after 27 years it has come to an end.
“We are announcing that the future of Internet Explorer on Windows 10 is Microsoft Edge. Internet Explorer 11 app will be disabled and no longer supported on Windows 10 starting June 15, 2023“.
However, support for the browser in business versions of Windows 10 will continue, in all consumer versions it will be abandoned.
Microsoft has been trying to ditch Internet Explorer since 2015, when it introduced the Edge browser, and IE has become more of an application “for compatibility” with old sites.
