The game promises emphasis on narrative elements, a viscous atmosphere and vibrant artistic images. And if this turned out to be not enough for you, then the musical accompaniment from the legendary composer Akira Yamaoka certainly should cause at least minimal interest.
Another curious detail The medium is a list of platforms. Development is created exclusively for the next generation console Xbox Series X and PC. Such a solution may seem a little strange to some, given that the gradually aging console of the current generation will not disappear from the living rooms of players overnight. However, the staff Bloober team convinced that for their game – this is the best option.
“We do not plan to port the game to other platforms. Xbox Series X will allow to present [The Medium] exactly the impressions that we added. Of course, theoretically it is possible to rebuild any project as needed, but in our case this will mean adjustments in key aspects of the entire content. Thanks to the power of the Xbox Series X, we are able to create The Medium as we always saw it, ”explains Jacek Zimba, one of the producers of the Bloober Team.
The studio is very pleased with the console Xbox Series X.
“[Xbox Series X] – This is a great gaming device, thanks to which we can create without looking back at compromises. I can’t wait for the fans to personally see what this platform is capable of. If I say too much now, I risk being killed by our marketing department. But I’ll note this – we use all available power in order to make a real breakthrough in matters of the game process, and this is real only with the advent of a new generation, ”the producer continues to explain.
Release date The medium to be held in the holiday season of this year. Already at the start of the project will be available in the service Xbox game pass.
