Microsoft Edge is now available to everyone through Update Center – review

Shortly after the release of Windows 10 (2004), the company Microsoft began deploying an Edge browser update based on Chromium to automate its installation on computers. Previously, I had to download the installer from the official site, but now the new product is available through the Update Center. Although the deployment may take several days.

After installation, it is recommended that you reboot the system for the changes to take effect. Then you can start using the new browser.

Note that despite all the efforts, the new Microsoft Edge has no synchronization of history and tabs yet,
but these features will appear there in the summer. But there is already support for extensions, read mode and compatibility with Internet Explorer 11.

I plan to release updates every six weeks, and not six months, as previously with the classic Edge. You can update the browser directly from the application itself.

Among the expected innovations, a new sidebar is planned, as well as a system of vertical tabs. The scrolling and voice-over features of web pages will also improve, as well as Progressive Web Apps.
