Memories of Celceta will be released in the West in spring – review

Companies XSEED Games and Marvelous europe announced that in spring 2023, a western version of the Japanese role-playing game will be released on PlayStation 4 Ys: Memories of Celceta. It will be on sale both in digital form and in a boxed version.

The original Ys: Memories of Celceta was released on the PlayStation Vita in 2012. And in July 2018, the game appeared in Steam and got very positive reviews. On consoles Sony Adol Christine’s new adventures are now available to Japanese players.

Remaster for the PlayStation 4 equipped with high-resolution graphics and support for 50 frames per second. The control system is optimized to preserve the functionality of the PS Vita touch screen.

The game will have a double voice acting: if desired, players can turn on either the English version or the original Japanese voices. In the near future, this feature will appear in the PC version, it will add a free patch.

In Ys: Memories of Celceta, adventurer Adol Christine comes to life in a stranger that he doesn’t know, but cannot remember what happened to him. To uncover the secret of his past, Adol and his new old friend thief Duren embark on a suicidal mission to explore the wild lands.
