Company Electronic Arts and developers from the studio BioWare announced the release of the first post-release update 1.02 for the collection of remasters Mass Effect: Legendary Editionwhich went on sale on May 14th.
The patch weighs about 12 GB and is already available for download on all platforms, however, he did not add the option of including English voice acting expected by many Russian players in the first part of the saga. While domestic gamers still have to be content with bad dubbing from Snowball…
Nevertheless, the update turned out to be very useful: it introduced various fixes and improvements to the collection, including fixing the problem with the freezing and crashing of the launcher on Xbox series x when using a wireless headset. Along with this, the update has tightened up the graphics, improving the iris shaders, terrain textures, cinematic scenes, lighting, shadows, as well as rendering and other visual effects.
Full list of the patch’s innovations:
General:
- Fixed a key issue that caused the launcher to crash or stop responding on Xbox Series X when using a wireless headset.
- It can still happen if you turn on / off the headset through the control panel. A future update should permanently fix this issue;
- Improved iris shaders for better interaction with light and ambient occlusion;
- Minor calibrations, fixes and stability improvements.
Mass effect
- Improved terrain textures;
- Fixed a bug due to which achievements / trophies for kills were not tracked correctly.
Mass effect and Mass effect 2
- Fixed an issue due to which the character could sometimes not appear in the squad menu;
- Improved pre-rendered cutscenes to reduce random artifacts.
Mass effect 2
- Improved lighting and shadows in some cinematic scenes;
- Minor visual improvements, rendering and special effects in some locations;
- Fixed minor text issues in achievements.
Mass effect 3
- Fixed a bug due to which achievements / trophies for kills were not tracked correctly.
