To begin with, the development team has almost tripled from the first part and swollen to almost three hundred people. According to creative director David Soliani, this scaling is due to the extremely ambitious goals of the project.
Firstly, a huge amount of effort is needed to create different worlds between which the player will have to travel. Secondly, the game will no longer have “corridor” links between battles: we will be given plenty to run around the locations. Thirdly, the camera will be untied from the “top view” and will be given completely under our control. Finally, the developers are going to almost completely remake the combat system: on his turn, the player will directly control the character.
Separately, the developers noted a couple more points. At the request of the players, they will allow you to collect “parties” only from “rabbits”, and only from the characters of the world of Nintendo. Also, great attention is now paid to the creation of “memorable characters”, namely, shown in the official trailer Rabbid Rosalina.
