Mafia II’s first remaster gameplay disappoints – review

In australian PS Store Remaster sales started briefly Mafia ii, which some managed to get and try. The first players were disappointed.

On PS4 Pro, the game often works unstable. Some even talk about drops below 20 frames – there is no talk of any 60 FPS at all, since the frame rate is locked at 30 FPS.

The most notable innovation was rare new facial animations, which somewhere look very good, and somewhere worse than the original. Among other additives, rare new textures for objects, a slightly modified lighting system and new effects like fog are also noted.

However, in general, the original PC version is still ahead of this remaster in many aspects, and many users are worried that with the update on Mafia 2 computers it will only get worse.

Most of all now they complain about a huge number of glitches and bugs: from sounds to running animations and the like. It seems that the developers have released an early version of the project.

Sales of the collection will begin today – when you purchase it, users will have instant access to Mafia II: Definitive Edition and Mafia III: Definitive Edition. The latter, it seems, is only an original game with all DLCs without additional improvements.

A remake of the first Mafia, which is included, is due out on August 28.
