The programmer was responsible for the creation of the “remaster” in 4K at 60 FPS Denis Shiryaev, who used a neural network for this, the Daim algorithm and the Gigapixel AI program. He also added an original soundtrack to the video and did similar operations with other historical videos.
At first, YouTube itself removed the video and even issued a “strike” to the channel, but the sanctions were lifted after complaints from the administration. Despite the fact that the author did not make money from the video and offered to add the necessary information to the new version, the Institute refused all options and demanded to be removed.
According to Shiryaev, he will agree to the terms, but will not delete the video, but close access to it – and return it in 2024. If even then the organization tries to sue, then the author is ready to go to this trial.
The video itself will be removed from the channel today, May 31, around midnight.
