Previous leaks partially confirmed. The initiative is called Star Wars: The High Republic (“Star Wars: High Republic“). This is the era of the so-called High republicwhen science, art and culture were on the rise, and the Outer Ring was a rather dangerous place.
During this period, there was a high activity of the Jedi Order, which actively explored the Unknown Regions and created new temples. In this case, the narrative will be divided into phases, the first of which is called Light of the jedi. Presumably, events will revolve around the initiative Project starlight.
“We will see the Jedi in their prime,” said Lucasfilm chief Kathleen Kennedy.
All stories released under this brand will unfold approximately 200 years before the events. “Phantom menace“. However, for now you should immediately forget about the films: not one of the film projects or series in production uses the setting of The High Republic.
Now the studio offers pre-orders exclusively for comics and books. At the same time, information leaked that a new setting would use one of the games EA. The list of waste paper is as follows:

Analyzing the above information, it seems that Disney there is no strong faith in The High Republic, so the company took a wait and see attitude.
