According to Kolstad, his work on the script is almost complete. The first season of the animated series Splinter Cell will consist of eight episodes, each 20-30 minutes long. What’s more, the writer confirmed that Netflix is planning a second season of the show, which will also be an eight episode series.
As for the plot, the viewers will have two different timelines in it, the actions of which will take place in parallel to each other. Despite the fact that the animation studio has not yet been revealed, Derek Kolstad says the animation looks “pretty damn cool” in the show. The interview also revealed that the premiere of the show is definitely not worth waiting for until 2023.
